[Abstract]ObjectiveToinvestigatetheefectofcore muscletrainingcombinedwith respiratorytrainingoncardiopulmo naryfunctionandlowerlimbsurfaceelectromyographyinpatients withspinalcordinjury(SCI).MethodsAtotalof80 SCIpatients whowerediagnosedandtreated inourhospitalfrom May2021toMay2024wereenrolledandrandomlydividedintoobservationgroup(40patientsreceivingcore muscletrainingcombined withrespiratory training)andcontrolgroup(4Opatientsreceiving conventionalfunctional training)using theblockrandomization method.Thetwogroups werecompared intermsofcardiacfunction,pulmonary function,lower limb surface electromyography parameters,andrehabilitation training compliance. Results Compared withthecontrol group,theobservation grouphadsignificantlygreaterchanges inresting heartrate,diastolic blod pressure,systolic blood pressure,blood oxygen saturation,maximumvoluntary ventilation,forced expiratory volume inone se cond(FEV1),FEVl/forced vitalcapacity(FVC)rate,average electromyography(AEMG)of the tibialisanterior muscle,and AEMG of the quadriceps femoris after training (t=3.661-14.871,P<0.05) . The observation group had a significantly higher score of rehabilitation training compliance than the control group 76.85±6.38 points us 64.78±5.72 points, t=8.915,P<0.05; : ConclusionCoremuscle training combinedwithrespiratory trainingcan improvecardiacfunctionandpulmonary function in SCI patients and increase the AEMG values of the tibialis anterior and the quadriceps femoris in lower limbs.
