[Abstract] Objective Toanalyzetheobjectivestructuredclinicalexamination(OSCE)scoresandtestquestionqualitycharacteristicsofclinicalmedicinegraduatesenroledatQingdaoUniversityin019andprovideareferenceforoptimizingtheOSCE asesmentsystem. Methods OSCEscoreswerecolectedfromthefive-yearregularprogram,five-yearexcelenceprogram, and 5+3′′ integratedprogram medicalgraduates.Questionqualitywasevaluatedusingthedificultyindex,discriminationindex, andCronbach’sαcoeficient.Scoresofmedicalgraduatesindiferentprogramswerecomparedusinganalysisofvarianceandchisquaretest. Results TheOSCEexhibitedanoveraldificultindexof0.8,adiscriminationindexof0.3,andCronbach’sαof 0.89.Significantdiferenceswereobservedinfailureratesamongthethre programs ⟨χ=3.631,P<0.001⟩ )aswelasinthe proportionofstudentsscoring ⩾80 χ=7.63,P<0.05) ).Exceptforelectrocardiogramoperationandinterpretationandimaging analysis,alclinicalskilscoresandtotalOSCEscoresdiferedsignificantlyacros programs (F=5.80-3.915,P<0.05) ).Pairwisecomparisonsrevealedsignificantdiferencesinalskilscores(al P<0.05 )exceptforphysicalexaminationscoresbetwenthe 5+3 ”andregularprograms. Conclusion OSCEperformancevariessignificantlyamongmedicalstudentsfromdiferenttrainingprograms.CurentOSCEquestionsdemonstrateadequatediscriminationandreliabilitybutlowdificulty.Futureasesments shouldmode-ratelyincreasequestiondificultywhilestrengtheninghomogeneousclinicalcompetencytrainingacros programs.
