Analysis of “Vibration"and “Shaking"//LIU Tingting

Abstract：Tis paper providesanin-depthanalysisof thediferences betwee“vibration"and“shaking"at thesemantic，pragmatic， andtranslationlevels.Firstlyitexaminesthebasicmeaningsof“zhen”（振）and“zhen"（震），notingthattheformerisftenusedin contextsrelatedtoumanactivis，hileelaterisorecommonlyassociatedwithaturalpnomena.Secondly，itxploste distinctiosbetwn“vibration"and“shaking”，highlightingtwomainpointsofdiferentiation：thenatureof themovementandthe subjectofthemovement.irdlyitanalyzsteorespondenceandrationalityofteCinesetswiththeirEnglishcouteprts “vibration，oscilltion”and“shaking，motion”.Basedontheabovenalyss，thispaperexaminestheusageof39termsrelatedto“vibration"and 31 terms related to“shaking"onthe“Term Online"platform，and proposes adjustments for individual terms.
