Machine Translation Quality Assessment and Post-Editing Strategies :A Case Study of Chinese-Japanese Patent Texts//TAN Hongxin

Abstract:WiththeincreasingfrequencyofscientificexchangesbetweenChinaandJapan,thedemandforpatentdocumentsandheir translatiohasgoapidlynteontextoftewidespradaplcationofachetranslationtisarticularlyimporattloe themachine translationof patentexts.Thisstudyselected Gogle Translate,Wenxiyiyan（4.O）and ChatGPT（4.O）tofocusonanalyzingtheirtranslationofprofesionaltermsinthefieldofelectroniccommuications.Combining theBLEUautomaticevauationindexandmulti-personmanual.Wecomparedthetranslationefectsofthereemacines,summarizedthemistranslationfeaturesand proposed corresponding post-editing strategies.
