AbstractDisciplineconstructionserves as thecore driving forceforenhancing thecomprehensive strengthofuniversities andpromoting inovation-led development Itisalsoa crucial element inthe developmentofhigher education.Thequestion of howlocal universities can overcomedevelopment botlenecksand promote theconstructionoffirst-classdisciplies has becomeasignificantisue in theprocessofChina's educational modemization.Thisstudydelves intothelogicaljustifications fortheconstructionoffirst-clasdiscipliesinlocaluniversities fromtheperspectives ofpolcyuniversities themselves,and society. By examining the current situationof discipline construction,it proposes implementing measures suchas improving the discipline construction system,emphasizing interdisciplinarycooperation,and optimizing the discipline evaluation system.These measures aim to integrate with the characteristics of local economic development,promotecolaborative interactions among disciplines,and build a group of advantageous disciplines with local distinctiveness.
