Abstract:Coastalsaltmarshesarelocatedinthetransitionareabetwenseaandland,afected byperiodicorintermitentoceantidesandcoveredwithherbousorlowshrubs.Theyareanimportantpartofcoastalwetlandsandanimportantcarbonsinkarea,makinganimportantcontributiontotheglobalcarbonsink.ThestudyareaincludesthecoastalwetlandsofQinhuangdao, TangshanandCangzhouinHebeiProvince.Thedistributioncharacteristicsofcoastalsaltmarsh inHebeiProvinceweredeterminedbyremotesensingidentificationandon-siteverification,and thecharacteristicsofsaltmarshplantcommunitieswerestudiedandanalyzed.Thevegetation typeswerespartinaalterniflora,redandsaltmarsh,andthetotaldistributionareawas44.9 hm2 .Inthisstudy,79stationswerecolected,158biologicalsamplesand474sedimentsamples werecolected.Theabovegroundbiomas,undergroundbiomas,organiccarbonandsediment carbonreservesandtheirinfluencingfactorsofcoastalsaltmarshinHebeiProvincewereanalyzed.Basedonthecalculationresultsofvegetationcarbonbankandsedimentcarbonbankatal monitoringstationsofdiferentsaltmarshvegetationtypes,theaveragevegetationcarbondensityinSpartinaalternifloradistributionareawas 3.80MgC/hm2 ,thatinsaltlandbordusdistributionareawas 0.96MgC/hm2 ,andthatinreddistributionareawas 2.99MgC/hm2 .Acordingtotheregionalcalculation,thetotalcarbonstorageofsaltmarshecosysteminHebeiProvinceis 2.11±0.17 )thousandt.TheresearchresultsrevealtheorganiccarboncontentandcarbonstoragecharacteristicsofsaltmarshesincoastalzoneofHebeiProvince,whichcanprovide basicdatafortheasesmentofcarbonsinkcapacityofsaltmarshesandrestorationofdegraded saltmarshwetlandsinHebeiProvinceinthefuture.
