Abstract:Oceanverticalanddep-seatransportsseverasdominantpathwaysfortheinteraction betwenclimateenvironmentanddepoceans,andesentialchanelmechanismsforthedeposition,storage,transportofland,atmosphereandsurfaceoceanmaterialandenergyintoandreleasefromthedepsea,whichprofoundlyshapethefuldepth marineenvironmentalecology andtheproces ofglobalclimaticandenvironmentalchanges.Focusingontheuperoceanventilationproces,theverticaldiapycnalmixingoftheintermediateanddepoceans,andtheabysalandbenthicoceantransport,thispapersummarizestheverticaltransportoftheocean andthedepseatransport,andalsoevaluatestheirimpactionsontheoceanclimateandenvironmentalecology.Thenresearchsugestionsonthecurentresearchstatusandlimitationswere putforward.Theresultsshowthatoceanverticalanddep-seatransportsexertcriticalfedback toandfar-reachinginfluenceonclimateandenvironmentalchange,andactasfundamentaldriversfortheevolutionofoceanclimateandenvironmentalecologyininteregionalseaarea,diferentoceanicregionsandinteroceans.Itissugestedtoenhancetheindependentresearchanddevelopmentofdeplevelsoceanobservationinstruments,promotetheinternationalcoperation mechanism,strengthentheheterogeneouscolaborativenetworkobservationcapability,depen theinterdisciplinaryintegrationandintersection,enrichthetheoreticalmethodsandaplication practicesoffuldepthoceanmixingandexchangeandtheinteractionofsea-land-air,andefectivelimrovethecomrehensiveasesmentoftheriskinducedb oceanthermodnamicand ecologicaldisastersaswelasthegovernancecapacityofclimatechange,withprovidingstrong scientificandtechnologicalsuportfortheenvironmentalsafety guarante ofhigh-quality marinedevelopmentandecologicalcivilizationconstruction.
