Abstract：Through an in-depth analysis of the output， production value，and dominant aquaculture models in Tangshan’s freshwater aquaculture industry，this paper examines the industry's strengths and constraints，evaluates its development potential and possibilities for upgrading，and proposes strategic such as enhancing the upgrading and transformation of pond aquaculture，expanding the industrial chain，enriching the functional diversity of freshwater fisheries，and innovating management mechanisms for reservoir fisheries.These recommendations provide a theoretical foundation for the highquality development of Tangshan's freshwater aquaculture industry.
