[Abstract]Rotatorcuff injury（RCI） isacommon tendinopathycharacterizedbyshoulder pain，limitedrangeof motion，and nocturnalpain，wichsignificantlyimpairspatients’sleepndqualityoflife.RecentstudieshavefoundthatnocturalpaininRCI isregulatedbyeircadianytofthebologicalclock，anditsexacerbationatnghtisloselyasoiatedwithfactorssuchas endocrinerhythmdisruption，accumulationofinflammatoryfactors，centralsensitization，andsleepingposture.Themidnighton ebb-flowtheoryinChinesemedicinealsoemphasizesthatthecirculationofqiandbloodfolowsatemporalrhythm，which resonateswiththebiologicalcircadianythminthecontextofchronomedicine.Byrevealingthetemporalpaternofnocturalpain inRCI，thispperproposestimingacupuncturetreatmentstrategiesbasedonthemidnight-noonebb-flowtheoryprovidingnew insights and approaches to improve therapeutic outcomes and quality of life for patients with RCI.
