[Abstract]Thephenomenonof "thickenedsoft tisse with everted lip"described in Su Wen：Wu Zang Sheng Cheng Pian （Basic Questions：Formationof theFive Zang Organs）alignswithmodernmedicalobservationsofadenoidfacies，characterizedby hypertrophyandprotrusionofthelipsandfacialsofttissuesAdenoidhypertrophyisconsideredtobeasociatedwithlong-tem stagnationofthespleenandstomachqimovementThisstudyelucidatesthephysiologicalconnectionsoftheadenoidswiththe spleenandstomach fromtheperspectivesof meridian pathwaysandtheinterelationshipsof thefivezang organs.Taking the pathogenesisastheentrypoint，itanalyzesthemechanismsofadenoidhypertrophyfromfourperspectives：lungandspleenqi deficiency，yangeficiecywithlegmstagnationspleenininsufciecyndfoodretentionItfurthrexplorsthdagnostic andtherapeuticaproachestotreatingadenoidhypertrophyfromtheperspectiveofthespleenandstomach，aiming toprovide clinical references.
