[Abstract]Pain isoneof the mostcommonclinical symptoms，seriouslyafecting patients’qualityof lifeandsocial functioning.Moderesearchshosthatpainisoselyrelatedtpsychologicaldsorderssuchasnxietyandepresiondee isabidirectionalasociationbetweenthem.Profesor ZHANGWeibelievesthatpainpaternbelongs totheco-morbiditiesof the body（form）andteind（spirit.ysicalijuriesleadtothosetofpanndprolongedpainiducesepresiononveselyven emotionscausinginteraldamagegeneratedepression，whichinturngiverisetopain.Thesetwoconditionsmaintainareciprocal causalrelationshipandmutuallinfluenceeachotherBasedonherrichclinical experiencein treatingpainpattrn，Professor ZHANG Wei proposedtheviewpointof "simultaneousregulationofthebodyandmind"inacupuncture treatmentforpainpatern. Intreatment，"regulatingtheheartandsothingtheliver"shouldbeadoptedtocalmthemindandrelievepain.Shecombinesthe traditionalgraytortoiseprobing techniquewiththemoderntheoryofmyofascialtriggerpoints，employingthe"acupunctureprobing for nodules" therapy to regulate the body and relieve pain，achieving remarkable clinical efficacy.
