Effects of rhizome age on endogenous hormone contents and antioxidative enzyme activities ofChimonobambusautilisrhizomes

Abstract:Thebambo forestofChimonobambusautilis,which hadbeenbredfor10yearsderivedfromaone-year-oldramet,was usedastheresearchobjectRhizomesampleswerecoectedbythemethodof tracingrhzomes,anditscontentsofendogenoushormonesandantioxidantsystemindexeseredeterminedtoanalyzegeefectsofthephysiolgicalcharacteristicsinzomeelgation. Theresultsshowedthat,tothewholerhizome,contentsofABAincreasedwiththeincreaseofrhizomeage,whilecontentsof GA, IAA and ZR had no significant change. The values of IAA/ABA, ZR/ABA, GA/ABA,(IAA + ZR + GA)/ABA decreased with the increaseofrhizomeage.Withtheincreaseofzomeage,SODativityincreasedfistandthendecreased,PODactivityinreasedfist andthenstabilizedndDAontentdcreasedgadualyTereasnoignificantdierenceinforepart,midlendpostefe rhizomeatthesameage.Thevariationlawofeachindexindiferentrhzomepositionswithageasdiferentduetodiferentinexes. Whentherhizomesofdiferentageswereconnected,changesofABAcontent,valuesofhormoneratioandMDAcontentwiththeincreaseof age were diferent withdiferentconnected segments,andotherindexes hadno significant changes.SOD,CATand MDA weresignificantlyegativelycorrelatedwithABAandIAA,whilePODandCATweresignificantlypositivelycorrelatedwithGAThis studyprovidedatheoreticalbasis forfurtherexploring theroleofbamboorhizomes inthedevelopmentofbamboo forests.
