Isolation of the phosphorus-solubilizing SCUEC21 strain and its growth-promoting characteristics

Abstract:Aphosphorus $$ solubilizing bacterial strain,designated SCUEC21,was isolated from cigar rhizosphere soil using the phosphorusdisolutionzoneprimaryscreningandshakeflasksecondaryscreening.ThestrainwasidentifiedasPriestiaaryabhataibased oncolonymorphology,physiolgical-biochemicalcharacteristics,and16SNAgenesequenceanalysis.Furthermore,theirharac teristicssuchasphosphorssolubling,potasiumsolubiling,itrogen-fing,indole-3-aceticacid(IAA)-producing,lttolerant,acid-alkaliolerant,ndroughttolerantabilitieseredeteiedTheexperietalsultssoedtatteoranicho phorus-solubilizing amount of Priestia aryabhattai SCUEC21 was 47.79 μg/mL ,the organic phosphorus-solubilizing amount was 16.20μg/mL ,and the potassium-solubilizing amount was 27.45 μg/ mL.Meanwhile,ithadtheabilities of nitrogen fixationand IAA production,andexhibitedcertaintolerancetosalt,alkali,anddrought.PriestiaaryabhattiSCUEC21couldefectivelyincreasethe contentofphosphorusinthesoil,whichwasbeneficialtotheabsorptionandutlizationofphosphorusbycigarsplants,tusproviding an excellent germplasm resource for addressing the issue of insufficientphosphorus utilization byplants from soil.
