Abstract:TakingtheIliRiverVallyinXinjiangasanexample,thetradeoffandsynergydynamicsoflandusefunctionsfro200 to2020wereexploredatthegridscaleandthezoningoflandusefunctionswascariedoutbyGeographicallyWeightedRegresion (GWR)andthe Self-OrganizingFeature Map(SOM)network.Theresultsshowedthattheproductionfunctionandliving functionof landuseintheIliRiverVallyweresignificantlynhanced,extendingfromtheurbanareatoteoutside.Theecologicalfunctionde creased firstandthenincreased,withhighervaluespredominantlyconcentratedinthesouthernandnorthernmountainousregions characterizedbyfavorablenaturalenvironmentalconditions.Theinteractionsamongdiferentlndusefunctionsdemonstratedotable spatio-temporalhterogeneitySpecificallythproduction-lvingfunctionelationshipwasprimarilysynergistic,thoughtestrgth ofsynergyhadgaduallydiminishdoertie;inomparison,theproductioecologicalandlivingecologicalrelationshipsrepredominantlycharacterizedbytradeofs,withtheirintensitiesfirstincreasingandthendecreasing.Acomprehensivezoningsheme fromgridscaletotowshipscaleasconstructed.Finally,fivefunctionalareaswereformedatthetownshipsale,includingtekey developmentareaofproductionfunction,themoderatedevelopmentareaoflivingfunction,thecoreconservationareaofecological function,theimportantmaintenanceareaofcompositefunctionandthepotentialimprovementareaofcomprehensivefunctioBased onregionalrsourcedowmentsproprateptiatiosuggestiosrepropoedfodifrentfuctioalareastrovdetific reference for land space planning in arid and semi-arid areas.
