[Abstract]Multiple myeloma（MM）isahematologic malignancyprevalentamong theelderly.The frailty presentsaconsiderableobstacletotheprognosisofMMpatients.FrailtyisasociatednotonlyiththeageofMpatientsandtheadversefectsof treatmentbutalsowithalterationsinbodycomposition，particularlythelossofmuscleassandadiminishedphaseangle.Thisarticle evaluatesthessessmentmetodsdtheoelationetweefrailtyndodyompositioncharacteristicsinMatients，examsthe influenceofthesefactorsonpatientprognosis，andimstoforulateorepersonalizedtreatmentstrategiestoehancethequalityof lifeand outcomes for individualswith MM.
