微视频联合回授法健康教育在肿瘤脑转移后PICC 置管病人中的应用

Abstract Objective: To explore the application effect of micro-video combined with teach-back method health education for patients with peripherally inserted central catheter(PICC) catheterization after brain metastasis of tumors. Methods: A total of 90 patients with PICC catheterization after brain metastasis of tumors treated in the radiotherapy department of a tumor hospital in Shanxi province were selected as the study subjects from January to December 2020.The patients were divided into a control group and an intervention group using a random number table(45 cases each).The patients in control group received conventional health education,while the intervention group received micro ⁃video combined with teach ⁃back method health education.The incidence of PICC catheter⁃related complications, compliance with arm functional exercise,and satisfaction with health education were compared between the two groups.Results:The total incidence of PICC catheter⁃related complications in the intervention group (17.78% ) was lower than that in the control group 64.44% ), the total incidence of compliance with arm functional exercise in the intervention group 100.00% ) was higher than that in the control group (71.11% ),and the satisfaction with health education in the intervention group was also higher than that in the control group,with all differences being statistically significant(all P<0.05 ).Conclusions:Micro⁃video combined with teach⁃back method health education could reduce the incidence of PICC catheter-related complications in patients with PICC catheterization after brain metastasis of tumors, improve their compliance with arm functional exercise,and enhance their satisfaction with health education.
