Abstract Objective：To sinicize the Stressors in Breast Cancer Scale（SBCS），and to test its reliability and validity.Methods：SBCS was translated， and culturally adapted based on the new translation model of Brislin.The first draft of Chinese version of SBCS was formed through pre⁃investigation.A total of 330 patients with breast cancer admitted to a tertiary grade A cancer hospital in Chengdu were selected as investigation subjects by convenience sampling to evaluate the reliability and validity of SBCS from January 10 to April 30， 2024. Results：The Chinese version of SBCS included 5 dimensions with a total of 25 items.The Cronbach's α coefficient for the overall scale was 0.949，split⁃half reliability was 0.889，and test⁃retest reliability was 0.952.The item⁃level content validity index ranged from 0.867 to 1.000.The scale⁃level⁃content validity index/universal agreement was 0.840，and average scale⁃level content validity index was 0.979.The Chinese version of Perceived Stress Scale⁃10 was used as the efficacy standard，and the criterion related validity of the Chinese version of SBCS was 0.54 3（P<0.001 ）.A total of 6 common factors were extracted from exploratory factor analysis，which was adjusted and merged into 5 common factors based on expert opinions，group discussion results，and clinical practice，and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 72.060% .The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the model fits well.The convergent validity of the scale was good，and the discriminant validity was good. Conclusions： The reliability and validity of Chinese version of SBCS are acceptable. It can be used as an effective tool to evaluate the level of stressors of patients with breast cancer in China，and provide a basis for formulating intervention programs.
