AbstractToprovideareliableload inputforstructural designbyaccuratelydeterminingthe pressreandinfluenceof slurryon thethickeer,tisstudybeginswithtequpment'sworkingprinciple.Ashematicdiagamofteurypressreisdevelopedand itsdistrutionpatesalongbothteverticalandhrzontaldirectionswitinthetickenerareanalyedSpecialemphasisisplaced onintroducingcalculationmethodsfortheslurryunitweightandthethicknessofthecompactedlayerbasedonconcentrationdata. Duetotheverticaltratificationofthesuy,tepressreloadontetickenercanotbecalculatedusingasingleuitweightvalue. Therefore,theaverageunit weight methodisproposed,wherebytheload isdeterminedthrough layered calculationandstep-by step superpositon.Tosimplifytheomputation,teoriginalfivevticallayersoftesuyareonsolidatedintotoructuralas:the supernatantandthecompacted layer.Thisconsolidationnotonlyalowsforlayerthicknessestimationusing formula-basedmethods but also meets the accuracy requirements for load determination.
