Simulation of the Metallurgical Process in the Rosting System of a Lepidolite Ore from Yifeng

Abstract Takingalepidoliteorefrom Yifengastheresearchobject，amodelof theroastingsystem wasconstructedusing MetCal softwaretosimulateprocesessuchasdrying，mixing&brickpressng，andtunelkilnroasting，withafocusonanalyzingtheheat balanceofthesystematdiferentstagesandthepotentialforwasteheatutilizationifluegasBysettng processparametersand constraints，teequiedotairquantityadcalorificvalueforallunitswerecalcuatedverfngtheationalityoftepropodwaste heatutliztonpathayitersofmatcingquantitisofhatandair.Simulationresultsidicate tathig-temperaturefluegafrom theroastingsectioncanbeusedforpreheatingandcombustionairheating，whilehotairfromthecoolingsectioncanbesuppliedto thedryingprocess，achievingcascadinguilizationofwasteheatwithinthesstem.Thisstudyprovidesatheoreticalbasisanddata support for flue gas treatment， pipeline design，and fan selection in the roasting system.
