Simulation of the Metallurgical Process in the Rosting System of a Lepidolite Ore from Yifeng

Abstract Takingalepidoliteorefrom Yifengastheresearchobject,amodelof theroastingsystem wasconstructedusing MetCal softwaretosimulateprocesessuchasdrying,mixing&brickpressng,andtunelkilnroasting,withafocusonanalyzingtheheat balanceofthesystematdiferentstagesandthepotentialforwasteheatutilizationifluegasBysettng processparametersand constraints,teequiedotairquantityadcalorificvalueforallunitswerecalcuatedverfngtheationalityoftepropodwaste heatutliztonpathayitersofmatcingquantitisofhatandair.Simulationresultsidicate tathig-temperaturefluegafrom theroastingsectioncanbeusedforpreheatingandcombustionairheating,whilehotairfromthecoolingsectioncanbesuppliedto thedryingprocess,achievingcascadinguilizationofwasteheatwithinthesstem.Thisstudyprovidesatheoreticalbasisanddata support for flue gas treatment, pipeline design,and fan selection in the roasting system.
