Analysis and Discussion of Power Supply for Large Campuses

Abstract Inresponse tocommon challengesinlargecampuspower-suplysystems—suchas dispersed building layouts, concentratedload periods,constraintsonsubstation placement,andhighinvestmentcosts—thisstudytakesthenewcampusofa vocationalcolegeinJiangxiasacase toexploreoptimized powersuplysolutions.Byanalyzing thefunctional zoningofcampus buildingsandteirowerconsumptionpates,ndaccoding tocurentstadardsforsubstationcofigurationadloadclafiation two powersuplyschemesareproposed:centralized-distributedandcluster-based.Acomprehensivecomparsonisthenconducted fromperspectivesoftransformerconfigurationcablelengthnvestmentostandoerationalefciencyTheesultsindicateat adoptingacluster-basedpowersupplymodelalignedwithloadcharacteristicscanreducethenumberof transformersby4,decrease total installed capacity by 22.4% , cut high-voltage cable usage by approximately 10% ,and save about 50o O0O CNY in initial investment.
