Abstract Tooptimize theselectionof mining targets fora domesticcopper-goldmine，two mining schemes were formulated basedonasystematicanalysisof geologicalresourceconditions，rebodydistribution，andgradecharacteristics：Schemeivolves miningonlyindustrial-gradeore，whileScheme2integratestheminingofbothindustrial-gradeandlowgradeore.Acomprehensive comparison wasconductedfromperspectivessuchasresourceutilaionpotential，oregade，miningcosts，andeonomicfits.he resultsindicatethatalthoughScheme1hasarelativelysmalerminingscale，itdemonstratessignificantadvantages inoregrade， miningtechnology，andcostcontrol，leadingtosuperioroveralleonomicbenefitsandbetteralignmentwiththemine'smining requirements.Therefore，Scheme1：exclusiveminingof industrial-gradeore-srecommendedasthepreferredoptionforthismine. The findings provide a reference for the scientific selection of mining targets in similar mines.
