AbstractTooptimizecapitalcostandoperatingcostsofaconcentratorinahigh-alituderegion,atechnicalandeconomic comparisonwasconductedforthree production lineschemesproposedforacopper-cobaltsulfideoreconcentratorprojectinthe DemocraticRepublicof the Congo.Basedontheprocessflowanddesignedcapacityoftheconcentrator,thestudycomprehensively compared Scheme I (two independent parallel lines), Scheme I (partially shared lines),and Scheme Il (a single production line) in termsof equipmentconfiguration,building area,capital investment,andoperatingcosts.TheresultsindicatethatScheme Il offers significantdvanagesipmntsale,rocsintesfiationuatitiofiviloksdistalledowerapacityingte lowestcapitalinvestmentandoperatingcostswhilefacilitatingautomationcontrolandmaintenancemanagement.SchemeI demonstratesthebestoveralltechnicalandeconomicperformance,makingitthemostsuitablefortheconcentratorconstructinin high-altitude regions with complex construction conditions.
