Application of Murtagh Safety Diagnostic Strategy in Outpatient Teaching of General Practice

Abstract： Objective To explore the application value of Murtagh Safety Diagnostic Strategy in the diagnosis of IgG4-related diseases in outpatient teaching of general practice. Methods Taking patients with suspected IgG4-related diseases encountered in outpatient teaching of general practice as the teaching cases， Murtagh Safety Diagnostic Strategy was applied to analyze the diagnosis and treatment ideas， and analysis and experi⁃ ence of the diagnosis and treatment process were made and concluded combining with literatures to guide general practitioners to think about disease diagnosis and treatment from multiple dimensions and cultivate the general clinical thinking of general practitioners in residency and improve the diagnosis and treatment level of IgG4-related diseases. Results Through Murtagh Safety Diagnostic Strategy， general practitioners in residency can systematically and comprehensively inquire about the medical history and conduct a careful physical examination， reasonably select auxiliary examinations， and gradually rule out common diseases and serious diseases. Finally， IgG4-related diseases can be accurately diagnosed. Conclusion Murtagh Safety Diagnostic Strategy has important application value in the diagnosis of IgG4 -related diseases in outpatient teaching of general practice and is helpful to improve the diagnosis and treatment level of general practitioners in residency.
