Teaching Reform of“Child Nursing ”Based on Multiple Intelligence Theory

Abstract: Objective To explore the application of multiple intelligence theory in the teaching of“Child Nurs⁃ ing”course under the background of digital education, and evaluate its implementation effect. Methods The teaching plan of“Child Nursing”based on multiple intelligence theory was implemented on 52 undergraduate students. The teaching effect was assessed through students’final exam scores, completion of online task points, and their satisfaction with the teaching mode. Results The average score of Nursing students in the course of“Child Nursing”was (83.25±3.59 , which was statistically significant ( P<0.05 ) compared with that 75.85±4.15) of the students in the same major of the Class of 2022 who were taught by traditional classroom teaching mode in the course of“Child Nursing”. Students are generally satisfied with the teaching plan and are willing to accept new teaching methods. Conclusion“Child Nursing”course based on multiple intelligence theory achieves good teaching effect, and has significance of reference for the future reform of Child Nursing teaching.
