Teaching Reform of“Medical Psychology ”Course Oriented by the Cultivation of Medical Humanistic Competence

Abstract: The interdisciplinary integration concept of New Medicine education is an inevitable choice that conforms to the development of medical development and social needs, but it also poses challenges to traditional education modes. “Medical Psychology”is a typical interdisciplinary field that can play a pioneer⁃ ing and exemplary role in implementing this concept of teaching reform. It is also helpful in cultivating medi⁃ cal humanistic spirit and establishing a mind-body integrated medical concept. Oriented by medical humanistic competence, our teaching team carried out a series of teaching innovation and practice with the main line of“focusing on clinical practice, orienting by problems, driving by tasks, and integrating knowledge and practice”, effectively improved students’learning initiative, creativity and practical abilities, cultivated students’humanistic competence and comprehensive literacy of multi-disciplines, and achieved a series of honors and achievements such as the second prize in the National College Teacher Teaching Innova⁃ tion Competition and the national online and offline blended first-class undergraduate course, providing useful exploration for establishing the New Medicine education mode that cultivates compound outstanding medical innovative talents.
