Analysis of the Current Situation of Meat Product Quality and Safety in China and Suggestions for Regulatory Measures

Abstract

This paper systematically reviews the changes in meat production in China in recent years,the development of theslaughtering industry,as wellas the consumption of meat productsand the distribution of production enterprises.Onthisbasis,itanalyzesthesources of qualityand safetyrisks inmeat products from three dimensions:livestock farming,animal slaughtering,and meat product processing.Some suggestions for regulatory measures are proposed to provide reference and data support for government agencies in conducting supervision of meat products.
