AbstractBasedonthesuaceobervationtemperatureadprecipitationataof28atioalmeteorologcaltatiosieasteaculural areaofInerMongoliaduringthecopgrowthseason（MaySepteber）fro198ltoOO，thenatioaltandardclimateanalsesst methodissuedinO17wasadopted，andtehangecharacteristsofanalcliateideanditselatiosipwithighandlowgainield wereaalyzdtasilitfesigainieldouhaliaticasaatioasetedeesultssdatt peratureineastenIerMngoliashowedanincreasingtrendfro98ltoOO，thereasanabruptchangeoftemperaturein996hepre cipiationntegowingseasoofopsshowdaslowdreasingtredterewretwomutatiosi1998ad2.ereasncat negative correlation between the grain yield and the annual temperature index，the correlation coefficient was - 0 . 2 6 2 ，and the correlation coefficients with the annual precipitation index and the annual climate index were - 0 . 4 1 5 and - 0 . 4 2 8 ， respectively，which were significantly negativelycoeltedsdotompreseaalyssoftosisteetwntalategdedeaidag curacy was 70 % .Therefore，it was scientific to predict the grain yieldbyusing the grade of annual climatic status.
