AbstractObetie]Todeplyxplorethgeneticdiversitycharacteristicsofeatgerplasminthewinterwheatzoneofsouth Xijang andcompreheielyssitsilapotetial.Metodssdfusdo5atvarets(s)partitigin regionaltrial.Tesevarietisweresujectedoarigorousanalysisandevauationofkeyagroomicndyieldtraits,compaingpant height,tillrount,spkegainumber,housand-grainweight,ndoverallyieldesultTefdingevealamarkableoticdiversityamongte55heatgemplasmresouces.Thecoeficientsofvationfortheseagronomicndyieldtritsspanawideangefroma minimum of 1 . 2 3 % to a maximum of 1 4 . 3 9 % ,with an average of 8 . 3 2 % . This suggests a considerable genetic variation within the studied wheatvarietis,gcpottialfdgprogCoelaioalysfurtrlirateatiosongthaist bly,asignifiatgaieeaststweddibaiatieadoust essarilytranslateintogherield.Convesely,ositivecoelatiosareedetweeeldndothgainumberpancdtou sand-grainweigt,suggstigtattheritouldseagetsfoieldimproveenttratesAditioall,raitsschsalte count,plantigt,nengthndumbeallncleitositieoelatioshield,gigioi nificancenbreedingeforts.Tfurthercondensetevastnfomationcontaiedintesetraits,principalomponentanalysis(PC)wseployed.Byseletingthfirstheepricialompoetsasedteciteroofgenvausgreaterthanumulatieotrbutioatef (20 5 9 . 7 4 % wasachieved.Thisrepresentsasignificantreductionindimensionalitywhilecapturigthemajorityofgeneticvariationpresentinthe 5germplasmresouceClusteraalysisas hencondctedtoategoreteeatvarietis(ines)intodstictroupsAtanEuclideandis tanceof3.,5atvreeegupeditoedsticustsaceqritpoilsdretyrtsus teringallowsforeioofriefrftgrosfogeedei,ryaigedingeddi versityCosilielyinidprsidsadgftiesiaestiof5t rieties(lines)nsouXijagndtlualdldutliatiootetial.Tistudesvauableisightsintodigf novelwintereatvarietisandteexpasiofgneticdivesityinisgio,erbyoibutigtosustaiablealaldee and food security.
