AbstractTo explore the growth conditions of the Camellia meiocarpa varieties Liping No.3and Liping No.2 in diffrent planting sites，thecompletelyrandomized block design wasadopted tocaryout affrestation inPilin Village （A）of Zhaoxing Town and Dixi Village （B）of Longxing Stree inLiping area，Guizhou Province.The survival rate， phenological perid，treeheight，ground diameter and other indicatorsof theseedlingsof thetwovarietieswere measured，andthecorelationsamong the growth indicators were analyzed.Theresults showedthatthesurvivalratesof Liping No.3and Liping No.2 in thetwo test fields were both relatively high.Among them，the survival rates of the two varieties at test site B both reached 100 % . There were diferences in phenological periods and growth conditions betweenthe two varietiesat different test sites.When planted atthesame planting site，the growth ofLipingNo.3 was beterthan thatofLiping No.2.Whenthesame variety was plantedindiffrent planting locations，the indicators such as the height of Camellia meiocarpa trees，east-west crown spread，and north-south crown spread in experimental site B were all higher than those in experimental siteA. Correlation analysis indicated thatthe correlations among tree height， ground diameter，east-west crown width，north-south crown widthand the number offlower buds ofLiping No.3 were relatively strong.Thecorrelations among the tree height，ground diameter，east-west crown width，north-south crown width，summershotlengthand the numberofflower budsof Liping No.2 were relatively strong.In conclusion，when diffrent varieties were plantedatthe same planting site，Liping No.3 performed beterand had strongeradaptability thanLiping No.2.When the same variety was planted in diffrent planting locations，experimental siteB wasmore suitable for the growth of Camellia meiocarpa than experimental site A.
