AbstractTo explore the impactof various elements in diferent plant communities onthe environment，the current situationofplantresources was analyzedin Binhu Zhuoyue CitySports Square，Hefei CityAnhuiProvince，thesemantic diference method （SD）wasused to conduct aquestionnaire surveyand score the plant community design，and the experience and feelings of tourists were analyzed.Theresults showed thatthere were 45O species of trees and shrubs belongingto73families and17Ogenera inthe studyarea.Mostofthem wereevergreen trees，andthebackbone trees mainlyincluded Camphora offcinarum，Sapindus mukorossi and Acerrubrum，etc.The characteristic tree species were Triadica sebifera，Metasequoia glyptostroboides，Ginkgobiloba，Malushaliana，etc.According totheSDdiffrence score，tourists liked thecomfortableand pleasantfeeling brought bythe plantcommunityinthe leisure space，and they were most satisfied with theplantcolor oftheadjacent water landscape.The plantlandscape inthe adjacent waterof the studyarea made tourists havebetter psychological feelings，and otherlandscapes still need tobeoptimized.This paper provides references for the design of plant community in urban sports square.
