AbstractThe efects of deep fertilization on soil nutrients，plant nutrient uptake，plant growth and development， crop yieldand qualitywerereviewed.Proper deepapplication of nitrogen fertlizer，phosphorus fertilizer，compound fertilizer，andorganicfertilizercanallincrease soilnutrientcontent.For example，deepapplicationof nitrogenfertilizer （10-25cm）canreducenitrogen leaching and volatilizationlosses insoil;as the depth ofcompound fertilizerapplication increases，theabilityof nitrate nitrogen in thesoil tomove downward increases.Proper deep fertilization enhanced nutrient absorption eficiency incrops.Fertilization in appropriate soil layers can promote thegrowth and development of crops，increaseschlorophyllcontentinleaves，improvesphotosyntheticcharacteristics.Appropriatedeepfertiliation aligns the activerot zones with nutrient supplyareas，and improves fertilizerutilization efficiency.The impactof deep fertilization on yield and quality varies among crops，but proper deep fertilization generally enhances both.This study provides a reference for determining optimal deep fertilizations for diferent crops and exploringthe benefitsof yield increase with reduced fertilizer input.
