Abstract： In her new book The Poetic Life and World Reflection： A Study of Rita Dove，professor Wang Zhuo explores how the African American Poet Laureates Rita Dove leverages artistic innovation to break free from the bariers of gender，ethnicity，historical discourse，and literary fields.It is noticeable that the unique interpretation of the transmedia poetics is a major highlight of the book. Her investigation goes beyond the usual practice in transmedia literary studies featured by the approach of interaction or integration. Instead，the work reveals the unique textual meanings of transmedia poetics from such multiple dimensions as the dance poetry，the music writing and the museum writing.
