Abstract: Professor Peng Qinglong has long been engaging in the study of Australian literature and comparative literature. In recent years, he has achieved significant results in techno-humanities and country and region studies. This interview captures Professor Peng’s considerations on the Australian literature and its criticism. Building on this, he discusses the interaction between regional literature(Oceania)and world/global literature.From the frontier perspective of comparative literature,Professor Peng emphasizes the importance of outstanding Chinese literary works, especially the development of science fiction and online literature,while addressing emerging phenomena and challenges in the international dissemination of Chinese literature. Concluding the interview, Professor Peng points out the necessity of advancing a “techno-humanities community” and offers his advice for the future development of young scholars.
