Research on Labor Union Protection of Workers’Rights and Interests Under Platform Employment Mode

Abstract：The platform employment mode challenges trade unions to protect workers’rights and interests. Fromthe perspective of industrial relations，the platform employment mode is not conducive tolabor unity， todissolvethefoundationof tradeunion formation，andtobreakthroughtheexistingconnotationof collectivenegotiation.Inthisregard， theextra /adoptsthecreation ofthethird typeofemployees，thechangeof trade union formationmode，and the expansion of collectivelabor rightsto addressthe challengesof platformemployment.Inthe face of the difficultiesofunclear qualifications for workers to join theassociation， failureof llectivebargainingmechanism，anddifficultyforregionaland industrial tradeunionstowork 011 gali gshouldb endowedwith new lonthebasisof expandingtrade union access qualificationsin thefuture.Meanwhile， trade unions should also carry out digital reform as soon as possible to meet the new challenges of trade unions to protect workers’rights and interests.
