Abstract：International standardscanpromote technological progress，enhance economic benefits，and promote and coordinate international trade andtechnical exchanges.Basedon China's practical work experienceinthenuclear energy fieldand theregulationsofthe InternationalOrganization for Standardization（ISO），the paper delineates the basic informationofIO/TC85，Nuclearenergy，ucleartechnologiesandradiologicalprotectionaswellasthedevelopent processand rulesofISO international standards.This paper furtherputs forward several strategies for applying for international standards of nuclear energy.
