Abstract：Electric bicycles havereceived significant atention fromadministrative departments in various provinces and cities，andare indispensable to the people.Electricbicycles are productswithalarge numberofreportsonquality andsafety，aswellaselectricalsafetyincidents，whichhaveighpotentialrisksandhiddendangers.Inthefrsthalfof 2024，arandomsampling was conductedon the productionandsalescenters ofelectric bicycles in Shandong province，in accordance withnational standardsGB17761-2018and GB42295-2022，tounderstand theindustryoverviewand testing statusofelectric bicycle products in Shandong province.Through analyzing results of the main inspection items and causes f non-compliance，the paperputs forward suggestions forthe healthydevelopmentofthe electric bicycle industry， in order to improve the overall quality level of the industry.
