Abstract：Theobromacacao isoneofthethree majorbeverage cropsinthe world.Asarawmaterialforchocolate，cocoa is widelyusedinfodprocessing，developmentoffunctional healthproductsandotherfields.Ithashighcomprehensive utilizationvalueandhugeindustrialdevelopmentpotential.Standardizationisanimportantlinkforthedevelopmentofcocoa industry.This papersummarizesthecurrenttatusofdevelopmentandrevisionofcocoastandardsanditsstandardssystemin China，analyzes themain problemsinthecurrentstandardssystemforcocoa，andproposessuggestionsonstrengthening the constructionofcocoa standardssystemforfurtherimprovement.Itaims tofacilitate thedevelopmentofstandards systemfor the industry，and provide areference for standardizing the industrial development of cocoa.
