Effect of Standardized Drug Education Programs on Self-management of DiabeticPatients

Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the efect of standardized drug education programs on self-management ability of diabetic patients.Methods: A total of 420adult patients diagnosed with type2 diabetes who visited the Suzhou District General Vilage CenterHealth Center,JiuquanCity,Gansu Province,from November 2022 to September 2023 were randomly divided into the control group and the experimental group,with 210 cases ineach group.The experimental group received standardized drug education program for 6 months, while the control group only received routine care. Glycosylated hemoglobin(HbAlc)leveland self-management behavior scale score were usedas the main assessment indicators.Results: After6months offollw-up,the mean HbAlc level in theexperimental group decreased from (204号 8.5%±1.2% at baseline to 7.2%±0.9% ,while the HbAlc level in the control group decreased from 8.4%±1.1% to 8.1%±1.0% (P
