Abstract：China’surbanenvironmentalsanitationoperationsareundergoingacriticaltransition fromextensive management torefinedmanagement.AsanationalcentralcityGuangzhoufacesdualpressuresofpopulationgrowthandenvironmental sanitatiomanagement.Withurbandevelopmentandtechnologicaladvancement，traditionalenvironmentalsanitationpractices encounter increasing chalenges，necesstating updated operational standards with improved content and requirements.This paper elucidates the development principles，contentanalysis andotherdevelopment processesof Guangzhou’slocal standard DB4401/T178-2O22，Qualitymanagementcode forenvironmental sanitationoperation.Itaims to standardizeoperational practices，improveservicequalityand management level，ultimatelycontributing to building cleaner and more livable urban environment.
