Abstract： With the continuous improvement of information technology such as artificial intelligence，its role in dental education is becoming increasingly prominent. Compared with traditional teaching methods，artificial inteligence based oral mucosal disease teaching can play a greater role in promoting the rapid development of oral medicine education.The main content of oral mucosal disease teaching includes the causes，mechanisms，diagnosis， treatment，and disease preventionand control of the disease.The complex etiologyand difficult treatment of this disease makeoral mucosal disease teaching highly complex.The application of artificial inteligence technologycan effectivelysolve this problem.Inthisarticle，wewillfirstconductresearchonthechallenges faced inteachingoralmucosal diseasesundertheackgroundofartifical intelligence.Onthisbasis，thedevelopmentstatusof "artificialintellgence+"in oral mucosaldisease teachingandthedevelopmentsuggestionsof "artificialinteligence+"inoralmucosal diseaseeaching are studied.Through this study， we hope to further improve the teaching level of oral mucosal diseases.
