Application and Challenges of“BIMC” in Construction of Smart Stations for Urban Rail Transit

Abstract:With the acceleration of urbanization processand the increase of population density, conventional means of transportationcan’t meet people’s demands for eficient and convenient traffic and travel,so more and more people choose to travel byurban rail transit. The article studies the construction of smart stations for urban rail transit and analyzes the problems existing in the intellgent upgrading renovation of conventional stations and the construction of smart stations,for example,high labor costs,low equipment integration and operation and maintenance level,weak emergency response capability and other“bottleneck” problems.It summarizes the significance of“big data,intelligence,mobile Internet and cloud'computing (BIMC)”empowering the wise construction of stations and the construction of smart stations,teases the actual situationof smart station construction and the functional characteristics of smart stations and points out the problems such as inconsistent standard interfaces,limited planningand design,and poor privacy and security protection. It also studies the empowerment of intelligent and wise construction of urban rail stations by the BIMC technology,further optimizes technical means and improves relevant construction schemes,so as to enlarge the intellgent renovation scaleof conventional stations,complement the short boardsof smartstation construction and improve the passenger experience and enriches the shared interfaces of smart station service.
