Study on Automatic Battery Refueling Device for Fuxing CR2ooJ EMU

Abstract： With the upgrading of conventional passenger cars，Fuxing CR2ooJ EMU has gradually won the favour of passengers due to its fast and convenient characteristics and comfortable riding experience.The underframe battery is an emergency power source and power supply device for some electrical appliances on the carinemergency situations，and its good workingcondition is one of the elements to ensure the stable operation.The underframe battery of Fuxing CR2oOJ EMU is NI-MH battery. As this type of battery is increasingly used in motor cars，preventing and controling the safety risks，improving the maintenance quality，optimizing the maintenance technology and increasing the operational eficiency have become the main goals of improving the maintenance processes. The article describes the maintenance technology for the underframe battery of Fuxing CR20oJ EMU.Using the industrial automation technology，combined with MSP430 core control chip，MODBUS communication protocol and 3D printing technology，an automated battery refueling device has been developed to achieve the full automation of the process，improve the operation process，reduce the operation costs，improve the maintenance quality and reduce personal safety risks. Especially，the quality and eficiency of operation have been greatly improved，solving the basic problems of long operation time and cumbersome maintenance processes.
