Study on Calculation and Test of Comprehensive Heat Transfer Coefficient of Railway Isothermal Car

Abstract:The comprehensive heat transfer coefficient is an important indicator to measure the thermal insulation performance of cars.To solve the problem of great deviation between the theoretical calculation value and the test valueofcomprehensive heat transfer coeficientof therailway isothermalcar,the theoretical calculation and the simulation calculation have been carred out and the results have been compared with the testdata.The non-thermal stability test has shown that the comprehensive heat transfer coeficient of the whole car is 0.1780W/(Ωm2Ω⋅K) while the theoretical calculation result is 0.1439W/(m2⋅K) ,witha deviation up to 19.16% compared to the test data. The comprehensive heat transfer coefficient of the whole car obtained from simulation calculation is 0.1682W/(m2⋅K) ,with a deviation of 5.51% compared to the test data.The data comparison demonstrates that the simulation canreproduce the heat transfer process of complexstructures more accurately.Based on the simulation analysis and the test result,fullyconsidering the impactof the complex internal structure of railway isothermal car on the heat transfer coefficient,the article revises the original theoretical calculation modeland proposes a structural heat transfer coefficient which can be usedtorevise thetheoreticalcalculation modelof thecomprehensive heat transfer coefficientof thewhole car andprovideanimportant reference for thecalculation of comprehensive heat transfercoeficient of cars with similar structures.
