Analysis on Model Selection for Bogie of 160km/h Express Freight Wagon

Abstract：The article describes the structural characteristics of the bogies of 160km/h passenger cars and freight wagons at home and abroad，introduces the design principle and structural type of the bogie of 160km. / h express freight wagon and analyses in details the selection criteria for structural mode of bogie，load-bearing structure，axle-box positioning structure，longitudinal force transmission mode and secondary suspension mode.Based on the above analysis，it proposes a technical solution for the bogie of 160km/h express freight wagon with welded frame and bolster and introduces the technical parametersand the structure of the bogie. This bogie solution is characterised by adaptability to operation and maintenance of freight wagon，simple structure and high reliability and isable to meet the operational requirements of 18t axle load and 160km/h speed of theexpress freight wagon，providing a reference fordesign of other bogie models of expressfreight wagons.
