Abstract:The rapid development of the multi-sensor fusion technology provides important support for the development of rail transit intellgent perception and automatic driving technology. The train speed measuring and positioning system is an important part of the rail transit operation control system,and the speed measuring and positioning technology which is safe,accurate,stable and reliableis the foundation and core of the train speed measuring and positioning system. The article analyses in depth the speed measuring and positioning methods commonly used at present and their principles and compares in details the advantages and disadvantages of different speed measuring and positioning methods as wellas fusion speed measurement. Considering the technical characteristics and the operational demands of the freight aerial rail train,it proposes a speed measuring and positioning method for thefreight aerial rail train based on multi-sensor fusion,which is a method integrating multiple sensors such as wheelset speed sensor,beacon,accelerometer and magnetic nail for navigation to realize the speed measuring and positioning of the freight aerial rail train. This method can better fit the actual operational scenarios of the freight aerial rail train and meet the requirement for high precision and high instantaneity of speed measuring and positioning of the freight aerial rail train,therefore it's a cheaper,safe and reliable solution for speed measuring and positioning.
