Analysis and Discussion on Cross-system Operation Scenarios of Trains with Flexible Formation

Abstract：With the rapid development of urban rail transit and commuter rail，the cros-system integrated operation has become the direction of development and the focus of future development of urban rail transit. The article analyses the operation scenarios of the flexible formation oncross-system lines，designs the parameters of vehicles and the data of track kilometre posts，based on which it also calculates the turn-back time and the operation interval of the train in diferent operation scenarios respectively. Through study and analysis on the turn-back efficiencyand the operation intervalof the train in different operationscenarios，it summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of the train with flexible formation in diferent operation modes on the crosssystem lines，proposes the preferential mode of operation organization during the cross-system operation of the train with flexible formation and gives opinions and suggestions on establishment of the operation plans for achieving an eficient and convenient modernized urban rail transit system，providing reference for the implementation of the system with flexible formation in the cross-regional，cross-line and cross-system operation.
