Study on Application of Monitoring and Sensing Technology in Oversize Freight Wagons

Abstract：The oversize freight wagon is a type of railway wagons to carry and transport extra-heavy and oversized goods.As the goods have big volume and complex appearance，they generally need to be assembled in the manufacturing factory before transportation to the site for use. The oversized freight wagons have progressively developed on the basis of railway wagons，normally with a length above 19m and mainly in structure of multi-axle bogie or multi-level underframe，some equipped with special lateral displacement device and guide device. Due to the special function and extremely great importance of the carried goods，these wagons face greater risk of operation and higher requirements for overalltransport safety. The monitoring and sensing technology is applied in oversized freight wagons for state monitoring，fault warning and diagnosis of wagons and goods and making the wagons“smart” so as to improve the capability of guaranteeing the operational safety of wagons and promote the digital application of railway equipment to a new level.

目前我国长大货物车有42种，共2000多辆，主要执行铁路上运输变压器、轧机牌坊、反应器、高压锅炉等大型机械设备和军事装备任务。（剩余4249字）
