Study on the Importance of the Monitoring System in Metro Stations

Abstract：With the acceleration of urbanization，the metro has drawn more and more attention as an important part of the urban rail transit and the comprehensive monitoring system forrail transit has been widely applied，especially the monitoring system in metro stations plays an indispensable role in guaranteeing the safety of passengers，optimizing the operation management and responding to emergencies，etc. The article studies the importance of the monitoring system in metro stations，and by analyzing the roles of the monitoring system in improving the operation safety，increasing the operation efficiency，asisting the emergency response and other aspects，highlights the dominant position of the monitoring system in the operation of metro stations.In addition，it analyzes the existing problems and the future development direction of the monitoring system and discusses how to improve its efficiency. The wide application of the monitoring system willbe significant for both the safe operation of metros and the improvement of the operation efficiency of metro stations.
