Building a Curriculum-Based Ideological-Political Education System in Surgical Nursing Courses

Abstract: Curriculum-based ideological-political education focuses on fostering virtue through educationasa fundamental task.Toaddress challenges in the constructionofcurriculum-based ideologicalpolitical education within surgical nursing courses—such as fragmented integration and delayed resource database development—this study proposes a three-tiered integration framework (discipline-level,program-level,and curriculum-level political-ideological education). Strategies included redefining the connotations of moral education,constructing a curriculum-based repository of ideological-political education resources,and empowering ideological-political education with virtual simulation technology. These measures establish a collaborative education system for curriculum-based ideological-political education within surgical nursing courses.Through holistic value leadership throughout the entire educational process and across alldimensions,the system enhances the targeted effectivenessand practical outcomes of political-ideological education and provides a reference for political-ideological education development in nursing programs.
