Abstract： Based on the practical realities of contemporary agricultural，rural，and farmer issues， General Secretary Xi Jinping's discourses on rural characteristic industries systematically explore developmental paterns through the lens of“local specialties”.This theoretical framework centers on farmer agency，industrial integration，and food security，establishing rural characteristic industries as pivotal to rural revitalization.The discourse clarifies the systematic development logic of“local specialties”，emphasizing practice-oriented approaches including cross-sector integration， interest linkage mechanisms， and localized strategies. These insights provide theoretical guidance for addressing unbalanced and inadequate rural development while advancing common prosperity for farmers. This study comprehensively analyzes the theoretical foundations，core principles，and contemporary significance of General Secretary Xi Jinping's discourses，ofering reference points for promoting high-quality development of rural characteristic industries and holistic rural revitalization.
